The location, right by the bridge, was perfect for exploring the stunning outdoor sites of Arashiyama, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms had beautiful views of the river and were equipped with all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly loved the larger-than-usual bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast was also a highlight, providing a great start to the day before heading out.

We had a fantastic time during our city break! We loved the spacious and well-appointed room, and the comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. the location is superb; We appreciated the traditional Japanese touch, such as the request to leave shoes at the entrance and wear provided slippers.
